About StandFree.org

StandFree.org has a mission to bring every day Americans into the democratic process by making sure legislators hear the issues that are important to them. We are a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization. Most lobbying efforts aim to increase government power against the wishes of the majority of ordinary Americans. We are here to give everyone the opportunity to unite and become involved in combating this expansion of the federal government. We exist to make sure you are part of the legislative process. As such, StandFree.org incorporated as a 501(c)(4) organization in order for your contributions to be used more effectively than would be possible under a 501(c)(3) designation. You can be sure that you are making a difference.
StandFree.org lays out our beliefs here in our Promise of a Great America for All. Our promise consists of four elements:

1. We believe in increasing the powers of all Americans by reducing the size and power of the federal government.
2. We believe in helping all Americans by reforming the tax code. We support the ideas of the FairTax as the best hope for freedom for all Americans.
3. We believe in controlling the excess spending of Congress. We support a constitutional amendment that sets spending limits.
4. We believe in term limits on federal senators and federal house representatives.
